God, our Refuge and Strength,
As we stand in the aftermath of resurrection,
we anticipate Your final redemption of all things,
a victory that will echo for all eternity.
In the here and now, we confess we are overwhelmed more often than we admit.
Overcome by the pain and struggles that haunt us,
we lose sight of Your goodness and grace.
Let the Word You have written on our hearts,
remind us that we are Yours.
Still our hearts.
Refresh our souls.
Renew our minds.
Awaken us to worship You with our whole lives
by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
