FAMILY MINISTRY

Partnering with parents to help kids and students take their next step toward Christ.

Your family matters to us, and we long for your kids and students to know their faith, grow in their faith, and stick with their faith. Here are some of the places and spaces Grace offers to help make that happen.

Gracekids

Serving your kids from six-weeks-old to fourth grade, we make every classroom a safe place to learn filled with truth, friends, and fun.

Gracestudents

Our Gracestudents56 program reaches your fifth and sixth graders right where they are, and Student Sunday Nights creates space for your 7th-12th graders to connect, ask questions, and grow in the gospel.

Family Dedication

Family Dedication is the first step we take together in your child’s spiritual growth — a special evening of dinner, worship, celebration, and prayer over you and your child.

Baptism

At Grace, we host a party for baptism that they’ll never forget! It’s a big milestone of faith, and we offer tools and information to help you know if this is the next right step for your child or student.

Life Prep

Life Prep is a year-long program designed to equip high school seniors with both practical and spiritual tools that will help them thrive in their Senior year and in the years to come.

Student Serve

We believe that serving in the church leads to staying in the church, so we encourage our 5th – 12th graders to serve in Gracekids as soon as they graduate from it! Students work alongside our team of adults, and training is provided and required.

Camps

Grace makes space for spiritual summer moments and memories by leading groups to three different overnight camps each year:

  • Kids Camp for 2nd-5th graders
  • Mix Camp for 6th-8th graders
  • Move Camp for 9th-12th graders

Look for all the details to pop up on our Family Ministry events page — registration opens by February each year!

Answers for Parents

How do I register my kids?

For kids from birth to elementary age, just come to the Family Ministry Check-In desk when you arrive on a weekend. Someone will be there to help and to walk you to your child’s class.

What about allergies or special needs?

We’ll note that information when you register, and make every accommodation we can. Our Gracekids ministries are nut-free, and we post any snacks we’re serving outside the classroom door.

What if you need to get in touch with me during the service?

For all first-time kids, we ask for a parent cell phone at check-in. We will text you during the service if there is any concern about your child. If your child has a difficult time at drop-off, we can also text you a photo of them having a great time once they settle in if you like.

What about safety?

We take security and safety seriously at Grace. Grace volunteers are background checked, and a matching tag system is used to drop off and pick up children. We also have security in the halls during services, and medical professionals on-call.

My child or student is interested in getting baptized. What do we do?

For Gracekids and GS56 students (K-6th grade)

  1. Register for our Baptism Class!
  2. Complete our Baptism Journal with your child (choose the Gracekids edition or the GS56 edition).
  3. Meet with your child’s ministry director to talk about baptism as a next step.
