The tragedy unfolding in Las Vegas is unthinkable. The prayers of our Grace elders, pastors, and staff are with the families of those who have been taken, those who have been injured, and those who are responding in Nevada.
Please pray for Las Vegas and for our world. Pray that evil will be defeated wherever it exists and that Christ will reign.
I encourage you to act right here. This is where you have been called, and your city needs your love.
We will have many people in our communities who will suffer deeply from the reminders of the Pulse shooting last year. Find them and love them. Your neighbors are weary of tragedy, and they need hope. Reach out to them, know them, and care for them in the love of Christ. Show them the peace and comfort of Jesus. “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul,” as it says in Hebrews 6:19. This is what the world needs — don’t be afraid to share it.
