Faithful and true God,
You are our refuge and our strength, the One who never fails.
You strengthen Your people and guard us from the evil one.
You send forth Your Word with power, and it never returns empty.
We confess that we do not always seek You first.
We rely on our own wisdom and grow weary in doing good.
We neglect prayer and drift toward complacency,
forgetting that apart from You we have no strength.
Forgive us, Lord.
Direct our hearts in love and perseverance.
Teach us to pray with confidence,
to serve with diligence,
and to remain faithful until the very end.
Amen.
