God of all wisdom,
You have set us free in Christ,
who bore our burdens and broke every chain.
In Him is mercy that never fails,
and grace that covers every weakness.
We confess we return to the weight of the law,
and yield to the pull of pride.
We seek approval where it cannot be found,
and exchange Your grace for our own control.
Forgive us, Lord.
Teach us to walk by Your Spirit,
to hold fast to Your truth,
and to live fully in the freedom You have given.
Amen.
