Most merciful God,
Your truth is everlasting and Your love never fails.
By Your word, all creation finds its purpose,
And in Your hands, we are made new.
We confess that we use our words to wound,
instead of speaking life and truth.
Forgive us for building our own kingdoms
And failing to honor You in all things.
Cleanse our hearts and guide our steps.
Shape us into people of patience and peace,
And empower us to live
as faithful stewards of Your grace.
