Serve families in need in our local schools with one of our campus service projects this summer!
ORLANDO: BACK TO SCHOOL SHOP
At this annual Grace event, held this year from 9-noon on August 3rd, families in need receive free tickets to our Back to School Event, where they shop for new clothes and shoes at a store we set up at the church. We provide free haircuts, free school physicals, new backpacks filled with their specific school supplies, and a cookout lunch for the whole family.
We would love for you to serve our community alongside us! We could use people to help cook food, monitor bounce house fun, work in the shop, check families in and donate their hair-cutting skills.

OVIEDO
Oviedo will be collecting supplies and hosting an event with the Orange County Academy — watch this space and your weekly Guide for details This private school serves approximately 60 at-risk children in the Bithlo, Florida area. Most of the people in this community are living in extreme poverty. Some of the children and their families are facing the daily struggle of homelessness. For most of the students, the school is the only stability in their lives.
WINTER GARDEN: CHRISTMAS IN JULY FOR DILLARD ELEMENTARY
Grace Winter Garden is collecting school supplies and backpacks for the families of Dillard Elementary. Head to our summer Christmas palm tree, set up in the lobby from June 30 – July 29th, and take a card with details of items to purchase. Once you buy it, place the purchased items in backpacks and bring them back to the tree.
