Read Matthew 5:14-16.

Reflect:

  1. Reflect on your identity as a believer in Christ. How does being called “the light of the world” impact your sense of purpose and identity?
  2. What actions in your life reflect this identity?

Apply:

  1. In what specific ways can you let your light shine before others – your family, friends, neighbors, & coworkers?
  2. Are there specific areas in your life where you can be intentional about being a light to those around you?
  3. How can you effectively represent God’s light to those who may be in darkness?

Grow:

  1. How can you ensure that your actions align with your identity as a light of the world on a consistent basis?
  2.  What steps can you take to continually let your light shine?
  3. What is the “immeasurably more” that God is calling you to (Ephesians 3:20-21)?
