The Kindness of God

When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy (Titus 3:4-5). Catch up or rewatch sermons here.

Grace Church Annual Theme

Every year at Grace, we focus on an annual theme. It’s a spiritual vision to help us remember who we are and who we are becoming. Our 2024 annual theme is God’s Kindness Leads to Repentance. This means that through the kindness and salvation of God, we are a changed —  and a changing — people. We’re not perfect, but God is perfecting us one simple step at a time, and we can be examples of God’s kindness to the world as we devote ourselves to doing what is good (Titus 3:8).

The Book of Titus

Christian tradition holds that the Apostle Paul wrote the letter to Titus.

A network of Christian churches on the island of Crete.

The book of Titus was likely composed between 64 and 68 C.E.

This letter has a pretty straightforward design and can be divided into three parts: Chapter 1 instructs Titus with his responsibilities in the church. Chapter 2 focuses on guidance in public life for followers of Jesus. Chapter 3 is a reminder that Jesus provided a way for new creation.
