How does Grace love your family?

1. We’re gospel-centered.  We believe that love for God and gratitude for His gift of salvation are the only lasting motivations for a life of obedience. So while we do teach about making wise choices, we talk even more about what God has done for us through His son, Jesus Christ.
2. We’re intentional. We’re not just babysitting back there while you’re in service. Family Ministry gets only about one hour a week of your kid’s life, so we take advantage of every moment to teach the gospel and show the love of Christ to all our kids — from infants through high school.
3. We teach the Bible. Scripture is central to all of our age groups. In Early Childhood, we focus on the person of Jesus Christ revealed in the Bible’s stories. In Elementary, we work our way through the entire Bible and the gospel thread in it every single year. And in middle and high school, we focus intently on different books and passages in scripture, answering hard questions and applying truth to student life.
4. We meet your children right where they are. We create age appropriate classes, lessons, games and activities with your child’s social, emotional and mental development and spiritual questions in mind. We want your child to walk away knowing and remembering truth — so nothing too long or heavy for the little guys, nothing too silly for the older ones.
5. We’re on your team. Our Early Childhood and Elementary programs offer weekly take-home materials to help your family focus on God throughout the week. We walk with you throughout the year to help you know whether your child is ready for a big spiritual step, too, like baby dedication, following Christ or being baptized. We’re also here to help with your child’s or student’s unique spiritual issues, needs and questions. Just ask.
6. We play it safe. Grace requires professional background checks for all volunteers, and our electronic check-in system keeps classrooms secure. Our equipment is sanitized weekly, and medical professionals are on-call. We also keep your cell number close and text you with updates and photos of your child having fun — especially if they have a hard time at drop-off.
7. We help you create spiritual memories in your home. In addition to weekly activities, we provide take-home kits during the Easter and Christmas seasons with a month’s worth of devotions, ideas and activities to help you celebrate these important holy days together.
8. We have fun. Our team loves kids, and that means we love a little crazy sometimes! From special events to parties to just an average day in class, Family Ministry knows how to have a good time.
