GRACE CHURCH 2022

A Year of Impact

We have not grown weary in doing good, and true to God’s Word, we are reaping a harvest  (Galatians 6:9). As 2022 comes to a close, we celebrate the faithfulness of God and the eternal impact He is having in Central Florida through Grace.

A Year of Engagement & Outreach

As we’ve given ourselves first to God, and then by His will to one another, we’ve seen an outpouring of hope and healing in 2022 (2 Corinthians 8:5). From disaster relief to unprecedented hours of pastoral and clinical counseling, Grace continues to take next steps toward reaching our community with the grace-centered truth of the gospel.

A Year of Miracles

2022 saw God provide abundantly more than we could ask or imagine as Grace was gifted a free, 25,000-square-foot property next door to our Orlando Campus (Ephesians 3:20). This space is literally opening doors to freedom and restoration as it becomes the new Center for Teaching and Healing.

In July of this year, Circle Community Church decided to become a part of Grace Church. In the process, they generously gifted this property and its 25,000 square foot building to us, free of claims and free of debt. We count it an unbelievable gift from God. And we’re going to do good with it.

Your commitment to The Good Initiative will help Grace renovate this property to expand our vision of Christ-focused teaching and healing to Central Florida. Your generosity will help:

  • Convert classrooms into 20-25 counseling rooms. This space will allow us to have at least four times as many therapy rooms and counselors as our current counseling center allows.
  • Construct observation rooms to train more gospel-centered therapists.
  • Build larger play therapy rooms to help children and students with emotional healing.
  • Create space for group therapy to help with addiction recovery, grief recovery, divorce recovery, marriage classes, and more.
  • Refresh the sanctuary as a chapel to use for Grace family milestones: weddings, funerals, and baby dedications.

Imagine the possibilities, and pray with us! We’ll be making big and small changes to make this space feel like home at Grace.

A Year of Generosity

We are growing, Grace family! We’re not just growing numerically and financially; we’re also growing spiritually with more people than ever actively trusting God and committing themselves to His mission. Praise Jesus—He who began a good work in us is carrying it on to completion! (Philippians 1:6)

Grace Staffing is 48% of budget and includes salaries, benefits, and staff development. The average church invests 52% of budget in staffing. This number can range from 46% to 60% (Leadership Network/Vanderbloemen Search Group).

Ben Habeck from Dime Accounting functions as Grace’s CFO Consultant. He and his team offer advice and oversight, assuring Grace’s expenses align with appropriate standards. He also helps us on how to best organize the church’s finances to accomplish its mission.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

– Galatians 6:9-10
