Faithful Father,
You have called us to live lives worthy of the gospel.
In Christ, You have shown us the way of humility,
obedience and love.
We confess that our hearts are easily shaped by the things of this world.
Too often we give our attention to what is temporary
and our affection to what cannot satisfy.
Turn our hearts again toward You.
As You work in us,
shape us to be more like Jesus.
Teach us to love what You love
and become who You created us to be.
