Grace Communities

What are they and how do they work?

  • "Grace Community" is simply what we call a group or a class at Grace.
  • Grace Communities run on a semester basis. Stick with your group after the season or try something new next semester.
  • Many Grace Communities use our Sermon Guides, questions about the weekend messages, to guide their group discussion. Other communities participate in specific book  or Bible studies as noted.

Knowing Christ Today
Addressing the central question facing the church today — Is the Gospel true? — Dallas Willard offers an impassioned argument that Christian spiritual ideals are a reliable source of wisdom that should be granted the same authority as other intellectual disciplines such as science or philosophy. He shows how faith and reason are complementary and confronts the difficult issues of Christian pluralism (the challenge of other faiths) and how we can know God exists Tuesdays starting June 4 from 6-7:30a; Room 100

The Meaning of Marriage

Modern culture would have you believe that everyone has a soul mate; that romance is the most important part of a successful marriage; that your spouse is there to help you realize your potential; that marriage does not mean forever, but merely for now; and that starting over after a divorce is the best solution to seemingly intractable marriage issues. But these modern-day assumptions are wrong. This book shows everyone—Christians, skeptics, singles, longtime married couples, and those about to be engaged—the vision of what marriage should be according to the Bible.

Starting Thursday May 30 at 7p. Save your seat at discovergrace.com/meaning
