You are needed.
At Grace, we intentionally keep our budgets and staff small and rely on a large team of volunteers to do the work of the ministry. That’s because of two important reasons:
One, we are commanded to help people serve Christ in the church: “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” Ephesians 4:11-12
And two, serving is the best path to belonging, hands down. Just like every other place in life, you don’t feel like you’re really part of things if you don’t participate in them. We want you to feel like one of the family — one of the team.
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them… Romans 12

INVEST ON A TEAM AT GRACE
Care & Missions
Whether it’s visiting someone in the hospital or connecting us with our mission partners, this team meets practical needs of the poor and hurting.
Photographers, writers, videographers, designers and editors use their skills to spread the gospel message.
They open homes, host groups, lead studies or coach others who do, all for the sake of deepening connections, care and growth at Grace.
This team invests their creativity, time and talents to help kids know, serve and love their God – so they can grow up into a church that does the same.
Remember how tough middle and high school were? These volunteers do, too. That’s why they invest in the lives of students.
As long as we have portable campuses, this team will be the backbone of Grace. It takes a big crew to set up and then pack our spaces each week, but it’s the one big thing that helps all the little things happen.
From preparing refreshments to answering questions to providing friendly faces, this team makes Grace feel like home.
Ministry takes money, even if we wish it didn’t. This team helps us keep it safe and accounted for.
The Church is the people. These are the people who help us keep in touch with the people.
The technical volunteers who lay the foundation for everything we do in the worship services — audio, lighting, video, camera and production managers. If you have a knack for equipment, we’ll train.

In many Bible stories, God sent worshipers out before the battle. This team of artists does the same for us each Sunday, leading us to God before we hear the Word and go out into our weeks.
