Why People Serve
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them… Romans 12
As followers of Christ, the Bible is clear that God has given each of us gifts, and that an essential calling to being part of a church is to use those gifts. Serving is what you have been made and asked to do.
Because the gospel transforms our hearts, we are freed to give back in response to what Christ has given us — not out of duty, but out of love for others who are a part of the Church and for those who do not yet know God.
It’s not always easy. It takes sacrifice. But giving your life away for the gospel of Christ is always worth it.

Where People Serve
Here’s a list of teams where you can invest at Grace:
Care & Missions Whether it’s visiting someone in the hospital or connecting us with our mission partners, this team meets practical needs of the poor and hurting.
Communications Photographers, writers, videographers, designers and editors use their skills to spread the gospel message.
Finance Ministry takes money, even if we wish it didn’t. This team helps us keep it safe and accounted for.
Grace Communities They open homes, host groups, lead studies or coach others who do, all for the sake of deepening connections, care and growth at Grace.
graceKIDS This team invests their creativity, time and talents to help kids know, serve and love their God – so they can grow up into a church that does the same.
GraceStudents Remember how tough middle and high school were? These volunteers do, too. That’s why they invest in the lives of students.
GraceOps As long as we have portable campuses, this team will be the backbone of Grace. It takes a big crew to set up and tear down our spaces each week, but it’s the one big thing that helps all the little things happen.
Guest Services From preparing refreshments to answering questions to providing friendly faces, this team makes Grace feel like home.
Office Volunteers The Church is the people. These are the people who help us keep in touch with the people.
Worship In many Bible stories, God sent worshipers out before the battle. This team of artists and production crew does the same for us each Sunday, leading us to God before we hear the Word and go out into our weeks.
